Reminder GMS Families - Early Dismissal Thursday October 19th at 1:30pm. No School - Friday October 20th. Parent Teacher Conferences are Thursday October 19th from 5-8pm and Friday October 20th from 8-2:30pm. Conferences will be held in the GMS gym on a first come first serve basis. Lastly the halloween Dance will be held on Wednesday October 25th from 6-7:30pm. Details are on the Grant Webpage.

8th grade boys basketball tryouts tomorrow from 2:45-4pm at GMS. 7th grade boys basketball tryouts tomorrow from 6-7:30pm at GMS. Saturday 10/21 6th grade girls volleyball tryouts from 9:34-11:45am at GMS. All of these are closed tryouts for students only. Bring water bottles and appropriate clothing and shoes. Good luck to all!!

Thursday, October 19th will be picture retake day. This will ONLY be for students who did not take pictures on picture day OR students with an order form/previous pictures to replace.

We want to remind you that we are fast approaching the deadline for students to have their physical and immunization information turned in per state guidelines. Please make sure that you have contacted your school’s nurse with your child’s upcoming physical/immunization appointment or that you have turned in your physical and immunization paperwork this week. Students failing to provide required health information will be excluded from school starting October 1st.

We have a group of students in our GMS Jazz Masters club who will be marching with the high school band this Friday, September 15 during the pregame show!!! Come check out these fantastic musicians!!!! Pregame starts at 6:30 but you won't want to miss them so come early! Sophia W, Ella S, Sarah L, Violet P, and Abdelfatah A!!!

The final round of tryouts will be help tomorrow, Wednesday, September 13 from 1:30-4 in the gym!

Tryouts will be held on Monday, Sept. 11 after school from 2:45-4. Please bring clothes to change into and a water bottle. If students are normally a bus rider they may ride the activity bus home at 4:15 or parents may pick up by 4:15.
