Students did a FANTASTIC job taking their time and doing their best on the 1st MAP test today! Please make sure that Chromebooks are charged tonight for day 2 tomorrow! Remember- if 100% of your AP class completes both the ELA and Math portions of the test your class will receive a donut party!!!
Picture Day is this Wednesday- dress to impress!
The Back to School Dance will be after school this Thursday from 2:30-4pm. Those that have remained "on level" or are "gold" status will be able to attend. Please check if you are riding the activity bus that you know which one to get on (bus numbers are different for after school activities). $5 pre-sold tickets at lunch starting Tuesday, and $6 at the door Thursday! Pizza, and snacks will be sold as well.
MAP testing is Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday. Please make sure all students chromebooks are charged prior to Monday! Advisory Classes can earn a Donut Party for Advisories with 100% student attendance during MAP testing. Students we need you here!
Speaking of attendance. Reminder students can arrive as early as 7:30. Students are LATE if they are not in their advisory class by 8:00AM. Please factor in metal detector time, locker time, and walking to advisory when dropping students off. The earlier the better for arrival!
Picture Day: Wednesday is picture day! Students must follow the student handbook for what is appropriate to wear during picture day.
Thursday: Back to School Dance 2:30PM to 4:00PM. Students must meet the requirements determined by GMS Jackpot Rewards (Attached) to be able to purchase a ticket for the dance! The only exceptions will be case by case for Grades due to student schedule changes.
Friday: NO SCHOOL FOR STUDENTS due to a teacher's inservice day.
Please look closely at specific dates for tryouts for 6th grade boys bball and 7/8 girls bball.
Due to weather, we will be inside the gym this year. Come at 5 to see the vendors, purchase food and see what grant has to offer. Teachers will be available in an open house-style format starting at 6pm.
Parents of band students will have a meeting at 5:30.
Cheerleaders will be performing at 6:30.
The Choir will be performing at 6:45.
