Good Evening Grant Families. This week all students will be completing the IAR (Illinois Assessment of Readiness) test for math and english language arts. Our 8th grade students will also be completing the ISA (Illinois Science Assessment) test. We will be testing all week long. We are striving for students to arrive on time and for perfect attendance this week. It is very important that all students charge their chrome books and bring their chargers to school with them. We know our students are prepared and ready for test. Adequate rest makes a difference! Please encourage your child to go to bed at a reasonable time and eat breakfast. All students can get breakfast at GMS in the morning.

This is a friendly reminder that the yearbook activity pictures and the 8th grade picture will be taken tomorrow morning. Students have been reminded this week about this on announcements. Coaches have reached out to let the students know what they would like them to wear for these pictures.

GMS Learning Lab is canceled for today. GMS F.A.C.E Meeting is also been canceled for today. We will have it next Tuesday.

Bus 90 is also bus 6 this afternoon. They had to return to the school but are back on the route to take kids home. They should be home shortly.

Our GMS family is growing! Congratulations to Ms. Stevens, Coach Lemasters and Mrs. Krutsinger all for delivering healthy babies in the last week!

Optional 7/8 grade VB practice tonight. Girls are able to stay after school with Coach to work on homework with her in her room. Parents will need to pick up kids at 6pm for those that choose to stay. An announcement will be made at the end of the day on the announcements as well. Reminder that there is an away game tomorrow, Wednesday, January 31 at Ball Charter @ 4:30pm.
