Hello sports fans and athletes, Tomorrow's 7/8 Girl's Volleyball game at WMS has a slight change. The 8th graders will play first starting at 3:30 with 7th grade to follow. This will allow any WEB Leader at either school to leave after the game if they choose to help with 6th grade preview night.

Due to illness today's game at Athens had been cancelled. There will not be practice either. A make up date is TBD -Mr. Goss

GMS Central Illinois Food Bank Delivery Dates: February 13th March 13th April 10th May 15th (last delivery for school year) Food will be available for pick up to parents after 3pm. Pick up for the community after 3:30pm. Thanks Mrs. Castro

Reminder girls basketball open gyms will occur weekly on Saturdays from 12-2 and Sundays 2:00 to 4:00 unless announced otherwise. This is for all current girls basketball members and girls interested in playing next year.

Please join our Family and Community Engagement Team at Grant Middle School. Our next meeting is 1/28/25 from 5pm-6:30pm. Please come out and let your voice be heard. Our discussions will be about School celebrations, Our Attendance Policy and Our School updates in the building. Afterwards we will start our super fun Bingo Night. Just a friendly reminder that there will be NO SCHOOL on Monday, January 20, 2025 in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. MAP Testing will continue this week and next. Please make sure that your child has adequate rest and arrives on time (before 8 am) to do their very best on this academic growth assessment!

9th Grade Preview Night will be held for all 8th graders tomorrow, Thursday, January 16, 2025 at 6pm (at all high schools). Please take your student to check this out! High School is just around the corner and this is a great opportunity to check the school out and meet teachers and admin! 8th graders met with high school Deans today as a preview. Don't forget to ask them about what they learned. Thank you for getting your students to school before 8am! Attendance matters!! We are down from about 80 students being late daily to only about 25. This is a huge improvement. Remember, if your child is going to be late, has an appointment or will not be in for the day to please call: 217-525-3170 to let us know.
